Easter Eggs
Not in the traditional sense of actual Easter eggs, but these are some hidden bits of information about some of the images on this site. Things I tend to think about when I see a certain picture.
In the black and white picture of the stair steps at Hocking Hills, a figure can barely be seen in the upper left of the photo. it may have been the author`s wife who wasn`t about to disrupt a good hike every time a photo opportunity arose.
In what could be the most expensive photo I`ve ever taken, the Sanibel Lighthouse was taken before 6 a.m. and produced a $35 parking ticket followed by another $30 when Hertz found out I was ticketed in one of their vehicles. What`s up Hertz, trying to clean up your reputation? Thanks O.J.
I hadn`t noticed the one light being burnt out in the rocking chairs picture, and probably wouldn`t have included it if both lights were on. Did you notice?
The pumpkin shot was taken on my front porch while having coffee on a cool October morning.
In 2008, while playing fetch with my dog at Piedmont Lake in Ohio, I decided to snap this shot of the sun before it went over the hill. I hadn`t expected Drake to appear in the frame.
Who is this snow angel? You probably guessed right.
While this might look like a lonely drifter playing the guitar at the train station, It`s actually not a guitar strap around his neck. This couple is going through a travel bag looking for something. His wife can be seen closely right behind him.
Columbus in Columbus with the City Building.
I may have asked permission to take the window portrait had he not been 8 stories high (In more ways than one). I waved to him. He most likely wanted to hurt me.
In the picture of the lake dock, a solitary figure is seen at the end. While it gives the impression of a lonely soul pondering over his life, the real story is less involved. It’s actually cousin Dan Kusko taking pictures of the same lake from a different perspective.
